Discover Frisch's Big Boy

When you're in the mood for comfort food with a nostalgic touch, Frisch's Big Boy in Bowling Green, Ohio, offers just the kind of experience you're looking for. Located at 1006 N Main St, this diner-style restaurant has been a staple in the area for years, delighting customers with its timeless menu and inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a hearty meal, there’s something here for everyone.

Walking into Frisch’s Big Boy, you’re immediately greeted by the warmth of a classic diner, with booths that encourage long, leisurely meals. The restaurant's charm lies in its consistency. From the classic Big Boy burger to their beloved breakfast offerings, it’s clear that this place knows what it’s doing when it comes to satisfying cravings.

One of the standout features of this location is the famous Big Boy burger. A hefty double-decker burger with layers of lettuce, tomato, pickles, and the signature Big Boy sauce, this dish has become a signature for Frisch's. What’s truly great is how the restaurant stays true to the original recipe while ensuring each burger is served fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The patty itself is juicy and perfectly seasoned, creating that ideal balance between crispy and tender. For those looking to switch things up, Frisch's also offers a variety of burgers, sandwiches, and salads, catering to a wide range of tastes.

If you're in the mood for something a little more indulgent, the breakfast menu is certainly worth checking out. From classic pancakes to scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns, it’s clear that Frisch’s has mastered the art of comfort food. One of my personal favorites is the Hotcakes with sausage - the pancakes are fluffy, sweet, and melt in your mouth, making it a perfect way to kickstart the day.

The restaurant also prides itself on its desserts, which, for anyone with a sweet tooth, are a real treat. The Hot Fudge Cake is a must-try, with layers of rich chocolate cake, ice cream, and a warm, gooey fudge topping. It’s the kind of dessert that’s perfect for sharing-or keeping all to yourself if you’re in the mood for something extra decadent. For those less inclined toward chocolate, the pie selection is fantastic, with flavors like banana cream and coconut cream that offer the perfect ending to any meal.

What really sets Frisch’s apart from other diners is its commitment to customer satisfaction. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ensuring that each diner feels at home. The atmosphere is casual, yet welcoming, making it an ideal spot for everything from a quick lunch to a laid-back dinner with family or friends. The locals often rave about the personal touch that the restaurant provides, from the consistently great food to the service that feels like a warm embrace.

Frisch's Big Boy also stands out because it offers a variety of meal options for every dietary preference. Whether you're craving a classic burger, a hearty breakfast, or something lighter like a salad, the menu has something for everyone. Even if you're looking for something on the healthier side, you’ll find fresh, crisp salads and grilled chicken options, ensuring that no one feels left out.

For those interested in a quick meal to go, Frisch's also offers takeout services. The quality of the food remains top-notch, whether you’re enjoying your meal at the restaurant or bringing it home to savor in the comfort of your own space. Their drive-thru option is convenient for those on the go, without sacrificing the taste that Frisch’s is known for.

The consistent quality of both the food and the service has earned Frisch’s Big Boy a loyal following in Bowling Green. It’s a place where regulars are known by name, and newcomers are welcomed with open arms. Reviews from diners regularly highlight the friendly service, delicious meals, and the overall inviting vibe of the restaurant.

Overall, Frisch's Big Boy in Bowling Green is the perfect destination for anyone craving classic diner food with a comforting atmosphere. From its signature Big Boy burger to the indulgent desserts and hearty breakfasts, it’s a place that consistently delivers. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is definitely worth a visit for a satisfying meal that feels just like home.

  • We stopped here for lunch at the beginning of our Ohio roadtrip. The service was friendly & fast, and everyone enjoyed their meals, including the kids. I was surprised to find mayo on my big boy burger instead of the signature big boy sauce that comes on it in Michigan locations, but it was still a delicious burger and the fries were crispy & golden.

  • An absolutely legendary restaurant. I haven't been to one in about 30 years and it still remains amazing. The service was great, and the burger and salad bar was awesome. If you are within driving distance, you really need to get here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They also sell some merchandise that is great to take home with you.

  • This may be sad as I have lived in Bowling Green area my entire life but this is my first trip to this big boy in 51 years. Sick of the same old stuff so I wanted to try something new and this was it. I was actually pleasantly surprised service was pretty good ,all the food actually was fresh and hot.

  • There are times when you are in the mood for simple diner type food. Big Boy fills the genre perfectly. Nothing fancy but tasty regular food. The service is very friendly and nice, and I've never waited long for food and drinks. The open faced roast beef is great and one of my favorites. Desert isn't bad either, so eat up and enjoy without spending a ton of money.. About a year later, I was in the area, so I went here again. The food is still just as good. I just don't understand why this place isn't packed. Great regular food that tastes great and fills you up. Don't pass up on that strawberry pie...

  • Haven't eaten there since my undergrad days..circa 1990's . Nonetheless, I still want to leave a good review since Google did not exist in '94. This place was a game changer. The only place that would be open past 2 AM when those munchies would hit . Great memories . I do hope it's still living up to that status, today. GO FALCONS & LONG LIVE BIG BOY

  • Stopped in tonight for dinner I was absolutely amazed. The service was great. I had a grilled cheese vegetable soup and a freshly baked apple pie along with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Everything was delicious thank you so much. I will definitely be back as a returning customer.! The women that work there in the drive-through deserve to be recognized for making everything perfect!
